The Media Awareness Project is an Internet-based

The Harm Reduction Coalition is a national organization
promoting a compassionate, realistic, respectful approach to substance
abuse problems.

National Alliance of Methadone Advocates, a national
organization advocating deregulation and greater societal acceptance of

IHRA
The International Harm Reduction Association is

Human Rights Watch has a Drugs and Human Rights
project that monitors human rights abuses related to drug policy, both
internationally and in the United States.

DRUG SCOPE (FORMERLY ISDD &
SCODA)
DrugScope has been created through the merger
of the UK's foremost drug information and policy organisations: the Institute
for the Study of Drug Dependence (ISDD) and the Standing Conference on
Drug Abuse (SCODA) - two charities with a total of sixty years in the
national and international drugs field. DrugScope is one of the UK's leading
centres of expertise on drugs. Our aim is to inform policy development
and reduce drug-related risk. We provide quality drug information, promote
effective responses to drug taking, undertake research at local, national
and international levels, advise on policy-making, encourage informed
debate and speak for our members working on the ground.
LINDESMITH CENTER
The Lindesmith Center is a drug policy research
institute. This site features a searchable database of thousands of library
documents from both academic and popular literature focusing on drug policy
from economic, criminal justice, and public health perspectives, and a
subject index of full-text materials online. We also host an ongoing seminar
series and send out mailings regarding upcoming events and publications
via both e-mail and smail.
